Soap Stamping Technique & Pro Tips
- Timing: For Cold Process (CP) soap, stamp when the bar reaches medium-firm cheese hardness (typically 24–72 hours post-cut). For MP soap, stamp immediately after it solidifies.
- The Cling-Wrap Secret: Place a sheet of thin clear plastic wrap over the soap bar or wrap the stamp face before pressing. This prevents wet soap from sticking to intricate text cavities, leaving flawless character impressions with zero residue!
- Application: Position squarely on the bar. Apply perpendicular, even downward palm pressure (or a gentle mallet tap), gently rock once, and lift straight up.
